We are headquartered in Madison, Wisconsin and work on projects across the nation. Intern Architects (Madison, WI / Milwaukee, WI)
We are seeking Intern Architects with 3 to 5 years of experience to join our Madison and Milwaukee offices. The ideal candidates will have a degree in Architecture and be highly proficient users of BIM/Revit, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), and Microsoft Office Suite. Software competency testing will be a requirement of the interview process. Candidates should possess excellent design and graphics skills, be strong communicators, work collaboratively and excel in a dynamic multi-tasking team setting.
Project Architects (Madison, WI / Milwaukee, WI)
We are seeking Project Architects with eight (8) or more years of experience to join our Madison and Milwaukee offices. The qualified candidate will have been registered as an Architect for more than five (5) years, having worked on a variety of larger, complex and highly technical projects. A thorough knowledge of building codes and construction detailing is required. Experience in the design of science and technology, corporate office and higher education projects as well as BIM/Revit experience is preferred. The ideal candidate possess excellent communication skills, is detail oriented, can think creatively, work collaboratively and is able to excel in a dynamic multi-tasking team setting.
Receptionist/Administrative Assistant (Madison, WI)
The major responsibilities include answering the telephone, greeting guests and providing administrative support to the staff. This includes assisting the staff with their correspondence, marketing materials, reports and AIA contract documents.
• Receptionist duties, including answering the telephone and greeting clients
• Preparing correspondence for the staff (proofreading for grammar, punctuation and format)
• Distribute incoming and prepare outgoing mail, UPS, FedEx and other deliveries
• Downloading photos
• Project work given to you by Project Managers
• Archiving the inactive project documents and entering them in our database; maintaining our archival library; and request retrieval of archived materials when necessary
• Miscellaneous duties include: helping the HR committee organize social functions, ordering lunches for meetings, maintaining control of office equipment (copy machine, printers, etc.) maintaining water, soda and coffee supplies and caring for the level of neatness in reception area, conference rooms, kitchens and copy areas
• Coordinate with other support staff for continuous administrative coverage when on PTO
• Monitoring and ordering all office supplies
• Post job openings and receive resumés
• Administer AIA contract program
• Coordinate travel through travel agent
• Initiate and maintain corporate and individual licensing and registrations
• Be point person for building maintenance issues
• Other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Bluebeam Revu and/or Adobe Acrobat and AIA contract document software, excellent phone etiquette, skilled at multi-tasking, ability to relate to people and make them feel comfortable, and the ability to lift 25 pounds
Construction Administration Assistant (Madison, WI)
We are seeking a full-time Construction Administration Assistant. The Construction Administration Assistant’s primary duty is to provide clerical support for Construction Administrators, Architects and Project Managers during the construction phase of projects.
The ideal candidate has a good understanding of construction terminology and processes, is proactive and communicative, is detail oriented, has the ability to think creatively, works collaboratively and excels in a dynamic multi-tasking team setting. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, excellent organizational skills and the ability to adapt to changing assignments is essential. The ability to lift 25 pounds is a requirement. Knowledge of web-based project sharing software such as Newforma, Procore, etc. is a bonus.
