We are seeking a Construction Administrator with 10 or more years of experience. The qualified candidate will have a degree in Construction Administration or Architecture and have successfully administered the construction contracts for dozens of larger, complex and highly technical projects. AIA registration is desirable. A thorough knowledge of building codes, contracts and construction detailing is required. Experience managing Science & Technology, Higher Education, Commercial and Governmental projects is preferred. The candidate must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Word and Excel. BIM/Revit experience is beneficial. The ideal candidate possesses excellent communication skills, is organized and detail oriented, can run effective meetings, is skilled at project documentation, works collaboratively and is able to excel in a dynamic multi-tasking team setting.
Intern Architects (Madison/Milwaukee)
We are seeking Intern Architects with 3 to 5 years of experience to join our Milwaukee office. The ideal candidates will have a degree in Architecture and be highly proficient users of BIM/Revit, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), and Microsoft Office Suite. Software competency testing will be a requirement of the interview process. Candidates should possess excellent design and graphics skills, be strong communicators, work collaboratively and excel in a dynamic multi-tasking team setting.
Electrical Designer/Engineer/ICT Designer
We are seeking an electrical design engineer with 10 or more years of consulting experience and licensure as a Professional Engineer or Designer. Knowledge of electrical power and lighting system is required. Additionally, expertise in ICT systems such as fire alarm, voice/data, A/V, and security systems is required. Experience with emergency generators, lightning protection and other low voltage specialty systems is desired. The ideal candidate will bring innovative thinking and a passion for design to the position. RCDD and CTS certification and knowledge of Revit is a plus.
This position will work directly with clients and the Strang project team to determine the appropriate electrical systems for the project, feasibility studies, probable cost estimates, design calculations, oversee, and assist with, the production of construction documents (plans, details, schedules, specifications) and assist with construction administration. Excellent communication and presentation skills are essential.
As Project Manager, you will be responsible for effectively leading large, complex, and highly technical projects across multiple sectors. Our wide range of projects provides an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of innovative building systems. Typical projects are challenging and engineering-intensive, permitting the opportunity to collaborate with clients and discover the most ideal pathways to success. This role will report to one of three firm Principals.

IDEAL CANDIDATE PROFILE:
- Ensure budget and schedule adherence with design integrity throughout projects
- Become the respected voice of leadership among clients and colleagues alike
- Ever vigilant for project quality improvements within budget and schedule
- Direct administration of contracts and building regulation compliance
- Lead required meetings with a project team
- Participate in presentations to clients
- Travel three to four days per month with occasional overnights as projects require
- 10+ years of experience as an Architect/Project Manager
- Experience managing at least fifty projects over the span of one’s career
- Have held a registered architectural license for over five years
- Thorough knowledge of building codes, contracts and construction details
- Excellent communication skills
- Strength in managing multiple project details
- Ability to think creatively
- Strong presentation skills
- Ability to operate in a dynamic multi-tasking team setting
- BIM/R experience preferred
