The 55,000-sf. MGE Innovation Center houses 15 small, high-tech start-up companies. These firms specialize in diverse research and development activities, including gene therapy, software development, cancer and AIDS research, and drug development.

To increase efficiency, support collaboration, and reduce operating costs for the tenants, the Center features shared laboratory space, machine shop, conference rooms, office equipment, commons/food service area, and reception services. Modular laboratories accommodate a chemical fume hood, acid waste, and the laboratory tenants' specialized equipment.

The interior incorporates vibrant interior finishes that reflect the tenant's high-tech business. The building provides a safe and easily maintained environment. Strang also designed a 50,000-s.f. expansion of the Innovation Center.
