Northern Sky Theater

New Indoor Theater and Administration Offices

Creating Their Off-Season Campus And improving Their Summer Home Within Peninsula State Park Are Integral Components Of The Long-Range Vision Of This Theatre Company.

Begin with the new creative campus – a place of serenity and solace, a place in nature to nourish the creative spirit, a place where original musical theater comes to life, a place to call home. There will be two buildings as part of the new creative campus providing everything in one place, before the theater company makes the annual summer move to the Amphitheater within Peninsula State Park. The centerpiece of the new Northern Sky campus will be a professionally equipped, intimate 248-seat theater that will serve as an ideal home for fall and winter shows.

They also plan to make improvements at the park. In 2016, Northern Sky and the Wisconsin DNR renewed this partnership for 15 years, effectively securing our home in the park for the next generation of theatergoers. New public restrooms, improved seating comfort, new merchandise and concessions facilities (including two new patron shelter areas), technical booth rebuild with new center lighting grid and sound system upgrade, dressing room makeovers, renovated patron staircase entry area and parking lot improvements.
