PIC Wisconsin envisioned
a contemporary building with a professional atmosphere
and the ability to accommodate growth. It also was important
to fit the building unobtrusively into the 15-acre site
while maintaining the natural landscape.
The interior of the building reflects the importance
of bringing the outside in. Upon entering the building,
a low soffit extends from the exterior to the interior
and leads you to the atrium, an expansive space with
exposed brick, large windows and a planter wall.
A warm and inviting environment was created by exposing
the brick and through extensive use of wood throughout
the facility.
The building's open space plan allows flexibility in
creating various types of work spaces. Conference rooms
and enclosed offices are placed strategically throughout
the building to promote team interaction among colleagues.
