Strang receives three InBusiness Commercial Design Awards

MADISON, Wis. (5/7/2009) – InBusiness Magazine presented Strang with three Commercial Design Awards at the second annual Greater Madison Commercial Design Awards Wednesday, May 6, in Madison. Strang received awards for Mentor Corporation, Covance Cafeteria and Monona State Bank.

  • Mentor Corporation in Madison received the award for Best Green-Built Project. The new 37,000 square foot manufacturing and office facility in Madison received Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Certification from the U.S. Green Building Council.

  • Covance Cafeteria in Madison received a Merit Award for Best New Development or Renovation - Industrial. This 20,000 square foot cafeteria serves as a multifunction gathering/break space features a natural motif, warm woodwork and soft, comfortable furniture.

  • Monona State Bank in Monona received a Merit Award for Best New Development - Office. The new 24,200 square foot, three-story building is part of a redevelopment of the Broadway Corridor. The building features panoramic views and on site amenities, which create pleasant work environment and help recruit and retain employees.
