The foundation of this 208,000 square foot biotechnology
facility's design is a "team architecture"
concept, which promotes interaction and collaboration.
All offices are open and share a variety of common spaces,
including conference and lounge areas. The design incorporates
and abundance of glass, which pulls natural light into
the interior areas of the building.
The building provides training labs, classrooms and
a 300-seat auditorium available for use by the public.
Arranged in lecture-style, fixed seating, the auditorium
includes state-of-the-art rear projection and sound
system equipment and a mobile podium with a central
electronic control system. This shared-use auditorium
is used by organizations and community members throughout
Dane County. A full-service cafeteria and dining room
accommodates a broad variety of dining, meeting and
conferencing elements. |
