Currently in the planning phase, Strang is providing a range of services for the University of Wisconsin-Baraboo/Sauk County, Living and Learning Center (LLC). These services include: economic impact and feasibility studies, analysis of existing or proposed programs, conceptual development, in-depth cost and benefit studies, strategic planning, program documentation, design, engineering, equipment procurement services and consulting assistance during initial program implementation and operational enhancement consulting services.
Providing a student-housing alternative will benefit the student population as well as overall campus recruitment efforts. The LLC will foster economic development and build awareness of sustainable technologies within the Baraboo/Sauk County community. Project dynamics include campus master planning that will address overall building space on the campus, development of a state-of-the art conference center accessible to the university as well as the community, and a residential facility for students. |
