Inspired by an active congregation and visionary pastoral staff, Mt. Zion committed to strengthening its presence in the community by expanding its growing worship capacity and community out-reach programs. Mt. Zion retained Strang to design its two-phase 30,000-s.f. expansion project.

Phase one consists of a 15,000 square foot addition to their existing church consisting of a 500-seat worship space, narthex, administrative offices, lower level classrooms, multi-purpose room, and music room. Phase two includes raising the existing church and building the family life center for a variety of social, youth and athletic activities. Additional spaces include food pantry, and lower level class/meeting spaces.
