Baraboo Library

The Baraboo library first opened its doors in 1903, made possible by a grant from Andrew Carnegie. In 1982, Strang designed a renovation and addition preserving its historical integrity and growing the library from 6,000 to 15,000 square feet. Upgrades included providing handicap accessibility with an elevator and energy efficiency improvements. In 1981, the building was added to the National Register of Historic Places.
