Originally a 55-acre farm intended for
industrial development, Strang developed a 42-acre
retail shopping center and 13 acres of the property
are designated wetlands.
In addition to planning the seven-lot development,
Strang assisted in gaining commercial zoning
approval from the City of Madison Urban Design and
Planning Commissions. Design services included site
planning, as well as signage, roadways, parking and
site amenities to enhance the user-friendly aspect of
the development. As the developer’s representative,
Strang also served as design consultants to Target’s
architect in the planning of a 122,000 square foot
store on the property.
