The Fort Healthcare Clinic in Cambridge is a 6,000 square foot medical clinic. The new clinic houses radiology capabilities, a laboratory, nine exam rooms and one minor treatment/special procedure room for minor surgery, splinting, casting, and repair of lacerations. The clinic includes a staff lounge, and a children’s area in the waiting room. The larger facility and addition of a third physician has made possible same day and same week appointments. Other new features include greater privacy and confidentiality for patients, 20 stalls of off-street parking and a geriatric scale that allows patients to be weighed without having to step up. The new clinic is built to Americans with Disabilities Act specifications and is wheelchair accessible.
